POLYGRAPH – THE ONLY PROTECTION AGAINST THE LIE!

The tested person must know: where and why he is going, what is the reason for the test and on what topic he will be tested. Must follow the rules before the test.

The test begins with consent. The tested person listens to everything about the test, the objectives, the questions, the procedure and his rights. After that, first verbally on camera, the tested person must give consent, and then again in writing in a consent document.

Then the polygraph examiner asks questions on the topic of the test. In the process of dialogue, new questions are created. The tested person must hear the questions to the test. If necessary, edit together with the polygraph examiner

Adjusting the polygraph to the test subject. Test on the number. Discussion of the formulation of questions. The polygraph test itself. Discussion of the result. In the presence of false questions, work on obtaining explanations. Summing up and completion of the procedure.

Thus, preparing an employee or candidate before testing is an important step when using a polygraph in a company. Our research has shown that preparing an employee/candidate increases the likelihood of a successful test by more than 28%. Before the test, it is important to explain the purpose of the test to the employee/candidate and give arguments about the importance of being truthful. It is necessary to explain the need to comply with the rules: to abstain from alcohol/medications/drugs 48 hours before the test and to have a good rest before the test.

According to Western labour market research, about 30% of workers abuse the labour market for their own enrichment. Another 30% are situationally honest, meaning they abuse when the system does not prohibit it. And 40% are honest employees who try to work honestly in any circumstances.

This is roughly the situation in most companies where there is normal personnel security. According to our research, the introduction of a polygraph and a change in values towards cultivating of truthfulness reduces the first two groups to 7% and 9% respectively.

When a polygraph is introduced, no more than 8% of employees refuse the procedure, and then it becomes clear that these 8% are from the first group of employees. If you want to build an honest team, the introduction of a polygraph is now a necessity.

We follow the latest research in the industry. We choose only those methods that are scientifically proven, those methods that are used by the leading intelligence services of the Western world. We have methods of obtaining explanations that few people in Ukraine have heard of.

To date, there are 10 valid methods that have undergone numerous studies and demonstrated high reliable accuracy. Almost all polygraph examiners in the world have chosen these techniques for their work. Unfortunately, in our country, the influence of the Russian experimental school of polygraphy is still present. Many companies use the search format methods of Russian law enforcement agencies. Based on research by Western experts, these techniques have an accuracy of no more than 70% and are accusatory in nature and cannot be used in working with people. The above-mentioned valid methods have an accuracy of 86% and 93%.

In our opinion, this is an important aspect of choosing a polygraph examiner. One of the peculiarities of testing using Russian methods is the duration of testing from 40 minutes to 1 hour. Testing using valid methods cannot be done in less than 1.5 hours. Usually, our testing lasts about 3 hours. Quality is important to us, so we are ready to spend the required number of hours.
